Webcelerate respects your concerns about privacy safeguards. This privacy policy discloses how we gather, use, share and protect information collected about visitors to the Webcelerate Web site and subscribers to the Webcelerate service through www.Webcelerate.com ("Service"). Webcelerate collects three different types of information: (1) personally identifiable information you knowingly provide to Webcelerate and/or its partners when subscribing to the fee-based Service; (2) email or other contact information when contacting us; and (3) personally identifiable information collected as you visit and browse Web sites using the Service (as a subscriber to the fee-based Service) and the Webcelerate Web site. What Information Does Webcelerate Gather?

Subscriber Information

Webcelerate collects and securely stores personal identifying information that you provide to Webcelerate, including, without limitation, your name, address, billing address, and phone number, credit card information, and email address as part of the subscription process for the fee-based Service. The personally identifiable information collected from subscribers during the subscription process for the fee-based Service is used by Webcelerate to manage each subscriber's account. Webcelerate does not collect any personally identifiable information from you if you subscribe to a free trial Service.

Subscriber Information for Voluntary Subscriber Online Surveys, Usability Studies, Contests, and Other Voluntary Programs

Webcelerate may periodically conduct surveys, usability studies, contests and other programs that help Webcelerate improve and promote its products and services. Subscribers may voluntarily participate in these programs and as a condition of such participation, subscribers may be asked to provide additional demographic information. Webcelerate may collect such additional information that the subscriber voluntarily provides, including, without limitation, gender, age, income level, modem speed, or type of operating system used.

Visitor Information

The Webcelerate Web site server automatically records visitor information based on your activity on the Webcelerate Web site and your activity on the Service, such as visitor IP addresses and/or domain names. This enables us to send information you are requesting. An IP address is often associated with the place from which you enter the Internet such as your Internet service provider. This information is associated with you as an individual.

Communication Information

If you communicate directly with Webcelerate by email or letter, Webcelerate may collect and store a record of your communication.


How Does Webcelerate Use the Information and With Whom Do We Share the Information?

Webcelerate does not share, rent, lease or sell personally identifiable information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this Privacy Policy.

Webcelerate; Agents. The personally identifiable information collected from subscribers during the subscription process for the fee-based Service is used by Webcelerate to manage each subscriber's account. Webcelerate also utilizes third party companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf, including, without limitation, companies with whom we have administrative relationships, such as billing or customer support services. Such third parties have access to personally identifiable information needed to perform their functions that are specifically related the Service, but may not use it for other purposes unless specifically stated otherwise. In instances where Webcelerate and a partner jointly promote the Service, Webcelerate will collect personally identifiable information from subscribers to the fee-based Service as a result of the joint promotion; and Webcelerate may provide to the partner certain aggregate, anonymous information regarding such persons for the sole purpose of allowing Webcelerate and the partner to assess the results of the promotion. We do not otherwise share your personally identifiable information with such third parties, unless you have granted us permission to do so. If you have provided personally identifiable information to Webcelerate, we will provide you with an opportunity to limit promotional email communications from Webcelerate or authorized partners of Webcelerate by "opting-out" or contacting Webcelerate as specified below.

Business Transfers. Because online business is a rapidly evolving business, and Webcelerate continues to develop and enhance its business, it may become subject to a corporate merger, corporate acquisition, or similar transaction involving the sale or combination of substantially all of its Service-related assets. In such circumstance, Webcelerate reserves the right to disclose your personally identifiable information to the merged or resultant business entity.

Protection of Webcelerate and Others; Compliance with the Law. Webcelerate reserves the right to disclose your personally identifiable information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is reasonably necessary to (a) comply with legal process, (b) respond to any claims against it, or (c) protect the rights, property or personal safety of Webcelerate, its employees, its customers or the public. Personally identifiable information collected by Webcelerate in conjunction with voluntary subscriber surveys, usability studies, contests and other voluntary programs will not be shared with any sponsor or third party without your consent.

Webcelerate may use your communication information to respond to your issues and inquiries. Your communication information you provide to Webcelerate's third party partners will also enable such partners to let us know that you have contacted them. Such communication information may be used to distribute information back to you about Webcelerate, the Service or other promotional or information communications from Webcelerate.

Cookies are data that a Web site transmits to your computer's hard drive through your browser to enable the Web site to recognize your browser, record and store your information and occasionally track your viewing habits for statistical purposes. The Webcelerate Web site uses cookies to collect this type of information to deliver targeted content to you, and potentially tailor and enhance your experience on the Webcelerate Web site.

Webcelerate does not intend to collect information from individuals who identify themselves as under thirteen (13) years of age who use the Service. If you are under thirteen, you should not subscribe to the Service or provide any personal information on the Webcelerate Web site. Webcelerate will not knowingly disclose personally identifiable information of children under thirteen to any third party.


How Does Webcelerate Protect My Information?


Webcelerate takes technical, contractual, administrative and physical security steps to protect all subscriber, visitor and contact information from unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy and enable the correct use of information. Webcelerate utilizes security systems to protect such information. When you provide credit card information, we use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption to protect it. It is important for you to help protect the security of your information as well. You should not share your password with anyone. Also, remember to sign out of your account and close your browser window and sign off when using a shared computer.
